Missouri Amendment 3 on the November 3, 2026 ballot will legalize abortion throughout the term of a pregnancy for the health and life of the mother and will legalize abortion until 12 weeks in the cases of rape or incest. It will also prohibit gender transitioning for minors.

Amendment 3 in Missouri would legalize abortion based solely on “fetal viability”. The amendment defines this solely on the abortion doctor’s discretion, which would technically and literally legalize abortion up to and perhaps even after birth.
