For those who desire proof Jesus is the Messiah, the destruction of the second temple provides ample. They were looking for a messiah like Judas Maccabeus, who led the successful revolt against the Greeks. The Maccabees were successful in repelling the pagans and restoring Judea. This is very interesting. Bible prophecy can be challenging to understand and I’ve struggled with the idea of the destruction that seems to be foretold of the end. I try to stay open of mind and spirit.
